It’s snowing up a storm in rural New England today, with many thoughts turning to a White Christmas and a fun-filled holiday for skiers and winter sports enthusiasts. However, us kitties, have other plans – sleeping, eating, and well, just hanging out.
Here are some photos of my feline family taking it pretty easy in the first of many winter snowstorms.
Linus doesn’t have a care in the world. Suppose he’s dreaming of sugar plums or a catnip mouse?
Pink Collar is dead to the world, with kitty dreams of yummy treats and lots of toys.
Clyde is taking a break from knapping. He wants food.
I’m Baby Lenny. Well, I’m not such a baby anymore. I’m a whopping six-months old, full of vim and vinegar. I’m seeing what kind of mischief I can get into today.
I’m Yellow. That’s right. That’s me in the heading. I’m just frightfully handsome, you know.
This is Linus again, seeing how many acrobatic poses I can do while trying to sleep.
Do you have some funny stories about your kitties on these lazy days. It’s certainly a day to spend in front of the wood fire. Too bad, mummy had to go out and work, so she can get her feline family lots of treats and toys to play with. And please check out the many entries in today’s blog hope below.
What a cute bunch of kitties!
Yes, indeed, I think they are pretty special.
Please share your furry friend with us at Wordless Wednesday Bloggers – http://www.wordlesswednesdaybloggers.blogspot.com . See you there!
Ahhh, us pampered kitties can nap through any weather in the full confidence that we’ll not have to participate in the cleanup. We are truly lucky. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs.
We don’t have snow days here in southern California, but we are often lazy anyhow!
Nothing like being lazy and soaking up the sunshine. We’s a tad jealous right now.
Woof! Woof! There’s nothing to be lazy on a snowy day. Enjoy! Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Whether they be romping outside or sleeping by the fireplace, they do indeed all enjoy snow. Many purrs.
Cats always know how to deal with cold weather: Stay in and sleep. Preferably on a human’s lap, but anywhere will do. My kitty likes to get under the covers with me.
Yes indeed, don’t they have it made. If only they knew it. But maybe they do.
