Who wouldn’t? One of the things I like is how they always have a kitten look no matter how old or big they get; they have that look of innocence and wonder.

  2. I have a maine coon! At least the vet says he thinks he is a maine coon. My first one – found him as a stray a couple of months ago. Tried to find his owner, but no luck, so I kept him. I featured him in my WW post – http://www.kittycatchronicles.com/1/post/2014/02/wordless-wednesday-caster.html
I love him dearly! He isn’t very cuddly, but he has a ton of personality and loves to wrestle and antagonize my other cats. His nickname is Brutus. Haha.

I had a Maine Coon aptly named Contessa a while ago. She was adored by my other three cats, my two dogs, my friends and me. Great disposition, fabulous looks. What’s not to love?
One day, she just curled up under my desk and died….

Most of my life has centered around dogs, big dogs. So Main Coons are the perfect cat for people like me. They are larger than typical cats, chatty and love to cuddle. In my opinion they are like little dogs in a cat’s fur.

  5. Good question, I do often wonder why they are so popular!
