Wordless Wednesday: Black Cats Rock

Black cats get a bad rap. They are the last to get adopted from shelters, many believe their personalities don’t shine in that environment.
I for one have always loved black cats. I remember as a kid having a black cat. My grandmother did not particularly like that cat. She liked the pretty yellow short=haired kitties or the brightly colored calico. I wondered why. As I look back, I think maybe it had something to do with superstitions, or maybe it had something to do with the black just doesn’t stand out. I’ll never know exactly why, but what I do know is that I love black cats. Here is my Pink Collar, who has shared living space with me for almost 13 years.

What do you think of black cats>? Why do you think they get a bad rap? Do you have a favorite black cat? Please weigh in on the discussion and share your stories?
