Check out this slide show of my photos from the 2014 Cat Writers’ Association’s Annual Awards’ Ceremony held Oct. 30 – Nov. 1 in Atlanta, Ga.
CWA is a professional organization dedicated to promoting the welfare of cats, and cat writers.
CWA supports existing professional writers and seeks to mentor those new to the profession. The Association welcomes all those who love and work for the well-being of cats through their various communications venues.
While CWA is an organization of professional writers, the organization welcomes talented and passionate newer writers. Many of our newer kitten members joined, learned, won awards, and procured book contracts through CWA programs. Paws’ mom has served as the official photographer for this event for the past four years. Last year, she served on the CWA Council, and this year was elected to serve as vice president of this prestigious organization dedicated to bettering the welfare of cats.
If it’s about CATS, CWA members cover it!
This was a great networking event. Do you attend conferences? Are you familiar with CWA? What do you think about writers who either write or blog to benefit the welfare of cats? Please share your thoughts and weigh in on the discussion.
BJ — these are great photos! It was good to connect with you again.
Great reconnecting. The conference was indeed lots of fun.
My human really enjoyed the awards banquet, and had so much fun networking (ha, more like hanging out with friends) at the conference! She can’t wait until next year.
The networking and catching up with old and new cat friends was awesome!
Thank you for bringing the conference to life with these wonderful pictures, BJ! I am so proud to be a part of such a fantastic organization with so many talented, cat-loving people!
Aren’t cat people just the best? CWA rocks.
