May Adopt-A-Shelter Cat Month: The Black Cats

Wordless Wednesday: Adopt-A-Shelter Month: The Black Cats Story

Have you ever adopted a black cat? Why do you think people are less likely to adopt a black cat? Do you think they are superstitious, or do you think they fade into the background at shelters? For Paws, we adopted 1 black kitty for my Mom in December 2001, and fell so much in love with her we couldn’t let her go. We went to another shelter, and she picked out her Clyde on Christmas Eve who became her best cat for years. Now that she has passed on, he has become a member of the Paws’ family.
