All 5 cats in the Paws for Reflection household are giving Hill’s® Ideal Balance® Crafted™ cat food a paws up, so much so we’re getting inspired to become more connected with our creative selves.
Every morning, in cat fashion, they let their human know it’s time for breakfast – one that just doesn’t taste good, but is also good for them.
Paws for Reflection was thrilled to be selected as one of the bloggers highlighting the new Hill’s® Ideal Balance® Crafted™ pet foods that features slow cooked cat food made in small batches, just like we’d like to make it ourselves.
The detail that has gone into the preparation of the slow cooked cat food is amazing. It begins with selecting high quality meats, wholesome vegetables and ancient grains, including ingredients like barley and chickpeas, to create unique, flavorful recipes. Then, all the ingredients are carefully mixed and added to the dough. Other real pluses include:
• All natural ingredients with:
• No wheat, corn or soy
• No artificial colors, flavors or preservatives
• Available in grain-free varieties
• And it’s made in the USA

By focusing on pets’ optimal nutritional needs, Hill’s products are transforming lives – for both pets and the parents who love them.
As we come to our fourth post, we reflect on how Hills Crafted has transformed our lives, and how we have been #Inspired by Crafted.
Cats have always been a favorite. My love of cats has inspired me to write and blog about them. I love to go to cat shows where there are in the works thanks to #Inspired by Crafted. I’ve always been a creative person, but time constraints, puts a big crimp on the ability to do all the creative things I would like: writing, photography, guitar, painting, and gardening.
While I considered putting the gardening to rest this summer, I decided I would at least plant some healthy foods and have some fresh, locally grown tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. There’s a farmer’s market in town where I can pick up lettuce, green beans, and fresh eggs. But there’s nothing like being able to go into your backyard and pick your own.
Now that it’s August, it won’t be long before the tomatoes turn red – we can’t wait – and the cukes will be ready to harvest.
It’s refreshing to see the apples and pears maturing for the fall harvest. And my flowers have been an absolute joy this summer – for me and the cats. Coming from a gardening family, I’ve also learned to love to can and preserve fruits and vegetables. I can just picture how much patience and love go into their cat foods – just like I do when putting hours into making Cucumber Pickles or Green Tomato Mincemeat.
