Labor Day marks the end of the summer season. While the first day of Fall is still a few weeks away, Labor Day is symbolic as the end of summer. Memorial Day marks the beginning of the vacation season where we flock to beaches, plant our gardens, manicure our lawns, and enjoy barbecues on our decks.

Kids go back to school, and we begin to reflect on what else we want to accomplish this year. For us kitties, it’s a little more napping, and not much work.

Today, we share 2 of the Paws feline family sharing their thoughts about this long weekend in this Sunday Selfie Blog Hop, sponsored by The Cat on My Head.

What are your kitties telling you this Labor Day weekend? Do you think they care that Labor Day marks the end of the summer season? Please weigh in and share your comments.

  1. It is wet and chilly today so Flynn has spent the day between napping and eating. Hop3efully we will get more good weather before winter. October is usually good. lovely selfies.

  2. Lovely indoor selfies. Hmm, well this weekend in the UK usually heralds the start of the end of summer, and the start of the rain and wind. Again this year, it is so very true. Still, on the plus side, there will be loads more time to do some nice selfies at home. Have a great holiday. purrs ERin
