August Cat Holidays
August Cat Holidays include International Cat Day, Aug. 8, National Black Cat Appreciation Day, Aug. 17, and Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, Aug. 28.
Did you know there are over 25 holidays throughout the calendar year that celebrate our feline friends, giving you a chance to celebrate their health, their personalities, and the communities they come from that, unfortunately, include a wealth of homeless kitties.
According to National Today, a comprehensive guide to all holidays, those who say “a dog is a man’s best friend” have clearly never owned a cat These sly, intelligent creatures get a rap for being cold and aloof, but those in the cat community know that their animals are just as loving and special as any.
Let’s raise awareness about the cats that don’t have homes while also showering those within our homes with a lot of love.

So much to celebrate this month! We will party on Black Cat Appreciation Day for sure!
I know there are a lot of homeless cats out there as almost all of the cats we’ve had over the years have been homeless strays and/or semi-friendly ferals.
It’s amazing how much there is to celebrate about cats. Enjoy your party on Black Cat Appreciation Day, and share some photos with Paws.
